Sergio Bustamante Noah's Arc Brooch

Sergio Bustamante is a Mexican sculptor and jeweler best known for his inventive and imaginative work with paper mache. His inventive creatures are brought to life, the pieces individually painted and glazed, bringing even greater detail to his work. Bustamante's first exhibition was in 1966, at the Galeria Misrachi in Mexico City, and he continues to exhibit his work around the world. 

This piece is a miniature depiction of Noah's Arc, expertly sculpted with paper mache, painted, and sealed. Set in sterling silver and signed, the piece can either be worn as a brooch or as a pendant.
